Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page. Your support means a lot to us as we prepare for the upcoming Charity Bike Ride from 3rd May 2025 to 5th, 2025, to raise funds for Help Nepal Network's Health Post in Mugu, Nepal. We will be cycling from Albufeira (Portugal) to Seville (Spain).

The charity bike ride is organised by Nepali Cycling Club, London coordinated by Harry Gurung, Prashidha Pradhan, Lachhuman Gurung, Harihar Upadhaya, Kaustuv Raj Paudyal, Rabi Rimal, Amod Pradhan, Sunil Karki, Anil Shahi, Rajendra Ale, Purna Kumar Shrestha, Bhaskar Karmacharya, Pushkar Raj Rajkarnikar, Narayan Adhikari and Sulav Pant.

This cause is incredibly close to our heart. The people of remote part of Nepal face numerous challenges, and your contributions can make a significant difference in their lives. By donating, you are not just giving money; you are providing hope and support to those who need it most.

On the 25th Anniversary of Help Nepal Network, we aim to raise funds for one of the projects the charity has been doing for the last two decades. The HELP NEPAL Health Post in Murma, Mugu - one of the remotest districts in Nepal, was established in June 2004. Over the last two decades, the Health Post has had a discernibly positive impact on the lives of not just the locals but also those from surrounding villages. Common ailments like pain, fever, and gastrointestinal and seasonal diseases can now be treated locally. There has been a significant improvement in the quality of life and villagers don’t have to walk two and a half hours to reach the government-run hospital at Gamgadhi anymore.

Help Nepal Health Post provided health facilities and regular check-ups to patients who were facing various health issues such as common cold, cough, fever, stomach pain, joint pain, and pregnant women check-ups, PNC/ANC and skin diseases. The health post has provided basic health facilities with necessary check-ups and health treatments to the residents and visitors around the place. Additionally, the health post has provided the local citizens with significant relief packages for its residents. The Health Post has not only been diligently serving the residents there during this pandemic but also before this crisis. Importantly, the health post provides necessary check-ups and treatment for local and foreign tourists as per their needs.
