NHS Charity Bash in the Attic!

Charity Bash in the Attic! · 29 December 2023
I turned 50 last year on 29/12/22 (I know, I have a very good skin routine). It was a blast - my band, The Atlantic Players, mixing it up with other guest artists across the city, at the Night Owl, filled with family and friends. Soon after I thought, "I'd love to do something like that again next year - but wouldn't it be a BETTER idea to use the day to raise money for the National Health Service?"
Therefore on Friday 29/12/23, me and my old mukka Brendan are performing at a venue we frequently love playing at the Attic Brew (https://atticbrewco.com/pages/visit) in our acoustic covers duo of vocals (me) and guitar/ BVs (Brendan) called B&H. But, this time, joining us later on in the evening will be my old band The Big Groove, who (bar doing a few songs at last year's party) haven't fully performed together in over ten years (don't worry, we will have rehearsed)! The evening will be a mixture of familiar tunes ('Brown Eyed Girl', 'Superstition') and perhaps the unconventional (lots of acoustic Bowie!), but all crowd-pleasers either way!
It's non-ticketed and free entry, but we hope you'll be able to attend - and be able to donate, via this page. All money taken from now and on that evening will be supporting the BCHC Charity. They are the official charity supporting Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS FT, funding equipment, research and facilities not part of core NHS services.
Your support helps them provide the 'extras' that bring a smile to patients who access their services and enhance their experience.
So, come along for a top night of musical mirth and merriment! Your presence will be the best present of all as it's always better when you're there!
