Story
On the 6th February, the girls Hockey 1st XI will be taking on the boys Rugby 1st XV in the annual charity hockey match. The Friday night lights game is highly anticipated each year with fierce competition between the two sides.
The boys have taken the win in recent years, but the girls are determined to claim victory this year! Despite the boys having some strong hockey players, the girls' skills are on point and ready to go after their successful season! Throughout the night there will be food available and halftime challenges to keep the crowd involved, so come along and support a good cause!
Beyond the excitement on the pitch, this year the match is about something far bigger, as we aim to raise money for The Hospice of The Good Shepard, a charity that provides vital care and support to patients and their families. This cause is especially meaningful as it is Mr Weller's chosen charity, and as many of you know he has been undertaking the huge challenge of running 10K everyday for 500 days, in memory of his cousin Katie. His incredible commitment has inspired all of us in the Stamford community and we feel proud to support him!
