"Jumping for Her – A Skydive in Memory of My Sister Danielle

Some dreams stay with us forever. My sister had one she never let go of—she always wanted to do a skydive. It wasn’t about the thrill or the adrenaline. For her, it was about feeling free, rising above the world, and doing something bold. She spoke about it and always wanted to do it before it was too late. But cancer had other plans.

She fought bravely. Through every hospital visit, every treatment, and every painful moment, she held onto her courage—and her sense of humour. Even when her body weakened, her spirit never did. When the time came, she spent her final days in the hospice I’m now raising money for. It became more than a place of care; it became the place where she got to marry the love of her life in a ceremony that will be remembered forever. The nurses helped her smile through her final days and gave us the precious gift of time and peace with her.

Now, I’m doing what she never got the chance to do.

I’m jumping out of a plane in memory of my sister—not just for the adventure she never had, but to raise funds for the hospice that gave her so much when she needed it most. Every pound raised will help someone else’s sister, mother, father, friend—whoever they are—to receive that same compassionate care.

This isn’t just a skydive. It’s a promise. It’s a tribute. It’s love in freefall.
