I’m taking on this challenge to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK and to support their work to help stop people losing their lives to this cruel disease.

Bowel cancer has already taken my beautiful Nan, who sadly lost her life to the disease at just 73. It also took my best friend’s husband, who was only 43 — far too young.

And now, heartbreakingly, bowel cancer has come back into my very close family again.

I’m doing this walk in their memory and for everyone affected by bowel cancer. I want to help raise awareness, support research and hopefully contribute towards a future where fewer families have to experience this kind of loss.
