I am running my first ever half marathon this year for an amazing charity close to my heart - Children’s Heartbeat Trust.

My 10 year old niece Kacie was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and in her short life has had 4 Open Heart Surgeries and will likely need a heart transplant later in her life.

Children’s Heartbeat Trust is a local charity in Northern Ireland providing practical, emotional and financial support to children and young people living with congenital heart disease (CHD). They work closely with paediatric cardiology team at Clark Clinic in the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children to ensure that children and their families receive the best care, treatment and support possible.

They do not receive any government funding and are reliant on voluntary donations to fund our services. Every donation is greatly appreciated.
