Story
On 12-14 June, I am attempting a Double Bob Graham Round — two full laps of the famous Lake District route, back-to-back, with a target time under 48 hours.
A single Bob Graham Round is a legendary fell running feat: 42 peaks, around 66 miles, and nearly 27,000 feet of climbing, all within 24 hours.
My attempt means 84 peaks, roughly 132 miles, and more than 54,000 feet of ascent — moving through two days and two nights with no sleep, across rough mountain terrain and whatever weather the Lake District throws at me.
Only a handful of runners have ever completed this challenge.
I will be raising money for The HALO Trust, the world’s largest humanitarian landmine clearance charity. Their teams work in former war zones to safely remove landmines and unexploded bombs, helping communities reclaim their land and live without fear.
If you can donate or share this page, it would mean a huge amount.
