I've decided to chop the hard won barnet! If I reach my stretch target, I'll even get rid of my even harder won Moustach!

I'll be donating my hair to a Dunedin based charity who will work their magic to turn it into a wig/wigs for people suffering with cancer.

I've also decided to run this fundraiser to raise some money for a cause close to my heart. Having lost a couple of friends to suicide over the last few of years, and heard of far too many more, I'm a strong believer in doing anything we can to prevent further loss, raise awareness, and provide support. That's exactly what 'Life Matters' do.

Anything you can spare will go to this great cause, and be gratefully received.

LIFE MATTERS SUICIDE PREVENTION TRUST

The mission statement of Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust is to promote suicide prevention strategies, provide the community with education and support, raise awareness, provide bereavement support, and reduce stigma.

We provide Peer Support, a bereavement support group on the first Tuesday of each month, subsidised counselling in Dunedin, Invercargill, Te Anau and via Zoom and we hold suicide prevention workshops in the community.

We don't receive government funding so donations/fundraisers are very important to us.
