I am reaching out on behalf of the Armed Forces Equine Charity, which is focusing support for organisations in Ukraine caring for horses and through them, people, all caught up in the war.

Horses can play a crucial role in restoring the mental health and well-being of veterans, soldiers, police, and firefighters, and their families. The work being undertaken in Ukraine ranges from rescuing and rehabilitating horses to providing horse-based therapy for people.

The power of the horse to heal is truly remarkable and must be seen to be believed. Having witnessed the benefits of this work both in Ukraine and the UK, I am convinced of its profound impact. I will soon be returning to Ukraine to deliver further material and financial help.
