Story

Help us raise £250 and make a huge impact

Hi, we're Charles and Lewis, both proud to work at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn (The QEH). On Saturday 27 September 2025, we're walking 26 miles of Norfolk’s historic Peddars Way – from Swaffham to Holme-next-the-Sea – to raise vital funds for something very close to our hearts: the Peddars Way Unit, The QEH’s new end-of-life care facility.

This new, purpose-built unit offers five en-suite rooms in a calm and peaceful environment, giving patients the comfort, dignity, and compassion they deserve in their final days. It’s a place where loved ones can be together, in privacy and tranquillity, during life’s most precious moments.

But we want to do more.

We’re raising funds to help enhance the unit further, adding those special finishing touches that can make a huge difference to patients and families – from soothing décor and furnishings to calming artwork and soft lighting that bring each room to life with warmth and peace.

"We see first-hand the difference this unit makes. Walking the Peddars Way to raise money for the Peddars Way Unit just felt right – a journey along a historic path, to help others on their own journey with comfort and dignity." – Charles & Lewis

This is more than just a walk – it’s our way of giving back, and we’d love your support.

Our goal is to raise £250, and every donation – big or small – will go directly towards making this unit even more special for those who need it most.

Please donate if you can, and help spread the word.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference.

Thank you so much,

Charles & Lewis
