Story
As many of you know my son Harry is autistic and has learning difficulties and will never live independently, but with the help of so many wonderful people he continues to develop his life skills on a day by day basis.
Jackie's drop-in centre - is one such organisation that helps him and other adults with disabilities. It is a small Hertfordshire based charity, that is run by volunteers with sheer determination, care and kindness that helps build new learning skills, support with social isolation and support against hate crime.
Harry found it very tough leaving college last year, but his weekly visits to this centre, has really helped with his confidence and social interaction and helps makes a difference to not just him, but many adults in his situation.
I will be running the Naples half marathon on the 22nd February to raise much needed funds for this wonderful charity, any help you can give, would be hugely appreciated.
