Story
I am doing this run in memory of my dad, who passed away in 2017 from a brain tumour, but with the support from everyone at St Oswald's Hospice, they made the situation for my dad and the rest of the family as good as it could have been. So I am raising money for them to support other families who have gone through the same situation as mine.
This will be my third big event to raise money for St Oswald's, with me running the entire length of the Tyne and Wear Metro back in 2024 and running the Coast to Coast from Whitehaven to Tynemouth in 37 hours. This challenge is my biggest so far, but it won't be the biggest I have in mind; for now, I'll be focusing on this, but there is plenty more to come after this.
This event will be taking place around St James' Park, and I will be doing 470 laps around there, which roughly works out to be about 204 miles. Whilst I do this event, I will have the support of my family and friends who will join in and help me get over the line. If anyone is about from the 28th to the 30th of August, please feel free to join in.
