The most important thing is we break down the stigma that surrounds talking about mental health and open up the conversation, so if this is the nudge you need to ask someone how they are doing or maybe even ask someone for a chat then the work is done!

The charity I’m supporting does that exact thing for so many people, it gives them a voice, the tools to talk about how they feel and also provides an ear when one is needed.

A couple of years ago I took on the challenge of cycling from London to Morocco in support of mental health and Ewen’s Room. Since then I have worked closely with the charity as a trustee and continue to support them in anyway I can.

People still struggle with their mental health and the problems people face continue to grow.

So again I feel compelled to make a change to try and help in the best way I know how. A growing problem demands a growing exposure and awareness so my challenge this time round has grown significantly.

This ambitious route will take me approximately 8 months, this will hopefully grant me time to gain maximum exposure for the cause and raise a healthy amount of money that will fund everything from open doors sessions to one on one counselling.
