Story
This year, my best friend and I laced up our trainers and started running together every week.
What began as a struggle to make it through 2km without losing our breath has turned into much more, we’ve built up to 5km, 10km, and even 15km.
Now, we’ve decided to take on our biggest challenge yet: the Children’s Hospice Half Marathon. On the 28th of September, we’ll be running 21km to raise money for an organisation that provides vital care and support for children with life-limiting conditions, including cancer, which many families are affected by.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and help the Hospice continue its amazing work. And if donating isn’t possible, even cheering us on as we tackle those 21km will mean the world to us.
We’re running not just for ourselves, but for families who needs that extra bit of hope and care. 👟👭🏼💛
