I’m running the 2026 London Marathon for Barnardo’s! and here’s why:

This April, I’ll be pushing myself to run 26.2 miles through the streets of London, but the real challenge I’m taking on is to help change children’s lives.

Barnardo’s is the UK’s largest children’s charity, working tirelessly to support vulnerable children, young people, and families. Every year, they help hundreds of thousands of children facing poverty, abuse, neglect, homelessness, and mental health challenges. They provide safe spaces, counselling, foster care, education, and hope for a brighter future.

What inspires me most is that Barnardo’s doesn’t just give short-term help. They work to break the cycle, giving children the tools, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive. They believe in children when the world often overlooks them, and they never give up.

Your donation, no matter how big or small, will help Barnardo’s be there for those who need it most. Every pound will go towards life-changing services that can mean the difference between a child just surviving and a child truly living.
