Story
Epilepsy Research Institute UK is on a mission to radically advance research for the 1 in 100 people living with epilepsy.
With a close family member diagnosed with focal epilepsy I have seen both how the associated restrictions, advisories and embargoes impact ‘normal’ life, with the benefits of advances in medication and the ongoing research restoring as much ‘normality’ as possible!
Having run my last two marathons on behalf of ERIUK I’ll be dragging my body around the streets of London ( there’s a song there surely !) in the London Marathon 2024 on April 21st. It’ll be my 10th marathon and the last one I run before my 70th later this year. I’m looking to finally break the 4hr mark .
Thanks to all of you who gave so generously on my previous efforts and I look forward to any donations this time around from friends old and new … each & every penny will be a step in the right direction towards my £2000 target to benefit their research … and help me to the finish line!
Thank you
