Cycling 472 km from my home in Croyde to Snowdonia, then hiking with friends—to raise awareness for mental health and vital funds. A challenge to highlight resilience, support, and breaking the stigma · 30 April 2025

Ask for Jake seeks to provide a network of trained volunteers who are able to offer emotional support to individuals in distress. Designed to provide informal early intervention to minimise escalation of mental health problems and provide a signposting service to support mental health wellbeing.

Story

I’m taking on this challenge to push my own mental strength and see how far I can go, both physically and mentally. Endurance events test resilience, just like life’s struggles, and I want to prove to myself that I can overcome tough moments.

After loosing a good friend Jake Mcphail to mental health when we was young.it made me want to also help others.I also hope to inspire at least one person to push their own limits, believe in themselves, and recognize that we’re all stronger than we think. Most importantly, I’m doing this to raise funds and awareness for mental health, helping to break the stigma and support those who need it most. 💙🚴‍♂️⛰️
