On the 13th September 2024, myself and Dan went to a radiology appointment to have some swelling checked on Dans right testical, we thought (hoped) this was just going to be some fluid. We were quickly told that Dan had testicular cancer and needed urgent surgery to remove the tumor. Hearing that word felt like the end of the world and life quickly changed. In less than 3 months Dan was diagnosed, had surgery, and had one round of chemotherapy and then told he was in the clear and had beaten the cancer like the warrior he is.

Without cancer research and Dan's quick diagnosis and treatment as well as the fantastic doctors and nurses I could be telling you a different story. We had the best outcome and we want to raise money so that cancer research can give more people the best outcome.

Myself and a team of amazing friends, family and colleagues (who we are so grateful for) will be taking on the manchester half marathon on the 12th October with our warrior Dan.

Please help up raise as much money as possible so that more people get the happy ending we did.
