Story
Today, and every day, seven young people in the UK aged 13-24 will hear the words “you have cancer”.

I was one of those young people.
When I was 16, I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.
A few weeks of aches, pains, falling asleep and getting unwell, turned to my Mum demanding a blood test - knowing something was wrong. To me starting chemotherapy 24 hours later.
I was treated at the Teenage Cancer Trust ward in Cardiff for 3 years, and then had my final year of treatment at the Teenage Cancer Trust Ward at UCL London.
I was looked after incredibly, and the support wasn't just for me, it was for my whole family through this time.
I always visit the wards that treated me and take gifts. But this year I would like to do my first half marathon in aid of this fantastic charity.
Please give whatever you can, as it will mean the world to me, and someone else going through something. No young person should have to.
Charlie (Now Aged 31) Thanks to charities like this. x
