Before I explain what we’re doing … you better know …

…. this was Abi’s bright idea 💡

And I’ll all be repeating that when in pain only 1/10th of the way round, and I’ll be blaming Abi up hills, down hills and any moment the lactic acid burn hits. But I am also incredibly grateful to her - it’s been fun wrangling the gear, wrangling us the team to begin fundraising and training. It’s a really cool challenge as it’s tough enough to have to make a big effort to get a teeny bit conditioned for a whole day of exertions, even getting on a bike again, beasting any hill I come across knowing it won’t be a patch on the climbs - but now another challenge the most import one - asking friends and family to help raise funds - which is kind of the hardest part as we all have so much going on already. So thank you being part of the team handing these donations over to such a special charity - thank you so much for your help reaching the target.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

What’s the actual scoop then?

I’m part of a team taking on Race the Sun Jurassic Coast Off-Road for children's charity Action Medical Research.

In June I will be setting off at sunrise to bike, hike and paddle around a ‘challenging’ course on the Jurassic coast (nice and flat then 😭😱) to race against the sun.☀️ 🌅 hoping to make it the base camp before the beers run out. It’s a good carrot on a stick.

26 miles on a bike 🚵‍♀️⛰️ this part is pretty tough.

9.5 mile hike 🥾 they have some monster climbs in stall for us and also beautiful coastal views.

And then too long kayaking all in one boat around the coast 🚣

… will we make it back? - we aren’t entirely sure yet 😳🤣🤣 kayaking at the end willl be … entertaining for on lookers. 4 in a boat and the little one said “keep rowing!” (splash 💦)
