Story
In 2019 I ran the Bristol 10K for the1st time. It was quite a personal achievement as I was quite unfit at the time. After the race the running fizzled out, and for the next few years I struggled with depression. Having battled back and made great strides to overcome that however, I’ve returned to do another 10K! The training for the run has itself been a real mental health boost.
Again, I'm running to raise money for the brilliant charity FareShare South West, for whom I work. If you can sponsor me that would be fantastic – no donation too small.…or large! Your support would mean a lot to me and the people it helps to feed.
FSSW tackles hunger & food waste by redistributing surplus food from the food industry, helping charities get vulnerable people get back on their feet. Every £1 donated enables FSSW to redistribute food for 4 meals to those who need it. Help them feed hungry people while saving food from becoming waste.
