Hi all,

In January 2027 I will be travelling to Mumbai to volunteer with OSCAR Foundation in India. OSCAR is a non profit organisation working in India which seeks to empower underprivileged children between the ages of 7-18 by providing basic education and football skills in and around the Mumbai area. OSCAR raises awareness and funds for underprivileged children and creates new opportunities they would not otherwise have had. Since 2010, OSCAR has empowered over 15,000 children and young people.

To raise money for OSCAR, on Sunday the 13th of December I will be cycling from Greenwich to Dover (roughly 80 miles/130 km). See above a picture of my trusty steed “the Red Rocket”, somewhat slower than would be ideal… but only a poor tradesman blames his tools. With some swanky new equipment (pedal cleats) I’m raring to go, and hoping I don’t fall over too often! All the money I raise will go straight to the OSCAR Foundation in India.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and thank you for any donations made!

Charlie
