As a teacher, I am acutely aware of the vulnerability of children and the importance of safeguarding their well-being. The NSPCC is an organization that works tirelessly to protect children from abuse and neglect, providing essential services such as helplines, counselling, and support to vulnerable families.

By running the London Marathon to fundraise for the NSPCC, I hope to make a meaningful contribution towards their vital work. The marathon is a gruelling physical challenge that requires months of training and dedication, but it does compare to the struggles faced by children who have suffered abuse or neglect.

Through fundraising, I aim to raise awareness of the important work that the NSPCC does and to encourage others to support this worthy cause.

Every penny raised will help the NSPCC to provide a lifeline for children who need it most, and I feel honored to be able to play a small part in their efforts to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
