Story

Hi everyone, my name is Charlie and I am 10 years old. 3 years ago I decided to grow my hair and as my hair was getting longer and longer I decided I wanted to donate it. Then I decided to grow it really long (for a boy).

Growing my hair really long I thought it could be made into two wigs or one really awesome wig for someone. Additionally I have ginger hair which is rare and donating hair is rare. So if anyone had ginger hair before, their chances of getting something like they used to have is pretty low.

My hair is really long now and I am anxious to have it cut as I've had it for a really long time. But now is the time to donate it as I feel like I am actually losing something. I feel like I'm giving something up for someone else.

This has been years and now I will be having my hair cut on the 23rd of August. My goal is £700 which is the cost to make a wig. Any donations at all will help so much and will be so greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much, Charlie :)

*Donations will still be accepted after I've had my hair cut*
