Story
In April I will be running my very first marathon in London. These days, it feels like everyone is casually ticking off marathons before breakfast, so running 26.2 miles may no longer seem as challenging or impressive as it once was. But let’s be honest, it’s still a long way, it's still going to be brutal and I’ll still be questioning my life choices 20 miles in.
That said, any pain I feel on the day will pale in comparison to the very real challenges faced by children in poverty around the world every single day.
Street Child does incredible, life-changing work to help children access education, safety and opportunities they simply wouldn’t otherwise have, and that’s a cause well worth a few months of training and some sore legs.
Any donations to help support Street Child in their wonderful and vital work would be much appreciated.
Look forward to seeing you on the big day!
Thanks,
Charlie
