We’re here to support young adults who have experienced the loss of one or both parents, as well as helping their family, friends, educational establishments and businesses to support them better.

Story

I’m very excited to be running the London Marathon 2025 and to raise money for It’s Time, a fantastic charity with a mission to make the world a better place for young adults who have experienced the loss of a parent.

Last year, my dad sadly passed away at the age of 54 after a long drawn out battle with alcoholism. I was 25 at the time, my younger brother only 21. His loss has deeply impacted our lives and I want to honour his memory by supporting a charity which exists to support those experiencing grief. My brother and I are certainly not alone in our experience - 1 in 7 people will lose a parent by the age of 30, and grief is a sad reality which practically everyone will have to go through at some point in their life.

It’s Time provide a wide range of support for young adults who have experienced the loss of a parent, whilst also working to help families, friends and employers understand how best to provide support. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a significant impact and help It’s Time to continue and expand their great work.

Thank you so much for your support.
