Story

First I would like to say thank you to all those who donated to my London Marathon run last year. We raised over £3000 which is truly amazing. I do now have the running bug and needed to set myself another challenge to try and raise even more for JDRF and the good that they do to help try to find a cure for diabetes.

I will obviously be running for Riley again. He is growing up so much and is dealing with the days to day trials of having diabetes with so much courage. He is so full of life, love and laughter. I’m not sure I would have the energy to train if it wasn’t for his truly never ending energy and spirit.

So this years challenge is the Jurassic Ultra. I will be running 100km over 2 days. It is run along the Jurassic coast of Dorset. There will be plenty of hills but also some amazing views. I have already started training and it’s going well. Hopefully my knees will hold up this year.

Please give what you can to JDRF. It really is an amazing charity that does so much for the kids with type 1 diabetes.

Again I would like to thank everyone who touches Riley’s life and helps him. Nurses, teachers, friends and family. You are all amazing. Monique needs a special mention as she is such an amazing mum for Riley. I have no idea how she wakes up at night to make sure he is ok. I am, like every man, completely asleep and oblivious.

All my love to you all
