Indy night for headway

EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

My name is Charlie Torrance and I’m a physiotherapist and an outdoor enthusiast :) in May 2022 I had a traffic accident which left me with life changing injuries.

I broke both femurs and sustained a diffuse axonal brain injury -grade 1. I was in hospital for 3 months.

I learnt to climb at the Indy climbing wall and we are hosting a night there where I will do a video & questions and answers with a raffle to finish! This will be to raise awareness of brain injuries and to raise money for headway which is a brain injury association charity.

This charity have my mum valuable information when I was in hospital and continue to help those with brain injuries!
