Story
In February 2018, I was diagnosed as a carrier of the BRCA2 genetic mutation. I was 20 years old.
In July 2019, I elected to have a preventative double mastectomy to reduce my lifetime risk of developing breast cancer, which was predicted to be over 70%. I was 22 years old.
In August 2020, I set up The BRCA Project campaign on Instagram, and started campaigning across social media, documentary, podcasts (and - shortly - reality tv) to raise awareness for the BRCA community. I was in my mid-20s.
In November 2024, I will hike for five days across the Indian Himalayas with 100+ strangers to raise money for CoppaFeel, a charity which raises awareness of the signs & symptoms of breast cancer, particularly in young people just like me. I will be 27 years old, and the cause is closer than ever to my chest (!).

This November, I'll be embarking on what is sure to be an unforgettable trek across the Indian Himalayas, in a bid to raise funds towards CoppaFeel's life-saving mission.
Your donations will support CoppaFeel who are on a mission to stamp out the late diagnosis of breast cancer by making sure that young people are regularly checking their boobs, pecs and chests and getting to know their bodies in order to have the confidence to see their GP if something just doesn't feel normal.
Thank you SO MUCH for your donation & support. It means the absolute world to me - especially for a cause that's so important to me, my family, and my wonderful BRCA community.
