Story
I'm taking on a challenge to raise money for Namatumba Primary School.
My friend Tony works for a charity in Uganda, and is involved with a primary school that needs some investment. To help, a crowd of us are taking on a triathlon and are hoping to raise £90,000 to build four new classrooms for the school.
I enjoy a run, I cycle to work, and I will usually get in the water if I get the chance - hence I'd thought at the start of this year 'how hard can a triathlon be?'... Well, I have realised it's going to be a challenge! I've been training for months now, I've worked up to the swim distance, and I've pushed past my 3-hour 'wall' on my pedals. But I haven't yet done it all together, and it's harder than it used to be to keep going all day! I'll be delighted if I can finish it!
Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to giving the kids at Namatumba a real school and a better future.
Thank you!
