Story
I’m taking on a tough challenge — trekking over 68 kilometres through the mountains of Peru to Machu Picchu — to raise vital funds for HFT, a charity that transforms the lives of adults with learning disabilities.
HFT works tirelessly to ensure that people with learning disabilities can live the best life possible — providing support, opportunities, and independence that many of us take for granted. Their work is about more than care: it’s about dignity, choice, and helping people thrive.
This cause is very close to my heart. I’ve seen how life-changing the right support can be, and I want to do everything I can to help HFT continue their incredible work. That’s why I’ve committed to this challenge — a six-day trek from Cusco to Machu Picchu, with over 2,750 metres of climbing and altitudes of up to 4,650 metres.
For me, the journey is more than a personal goal. Every step I take will be for adults with learning disabilities — to help create brighter futures and to show that, together, we can overcome even the biggest challenges.
Any donation you can give will make a real difference. It will help HFT continue to transform lives, and it will give me the strength and motivation I need to complete this challenge.
