Running 100k in 20 days

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

My grandma was born in 1937, she became a trained opera singer where she met my grandad Gerry working the summer shows, and they were both amazing at it. She would spoilt me and my brother rotten, she was the reason as to why I am so interested in music and loved us more than anything. We were so lucky to have a grandma like her before we lost her to Alzheimer's in 2020, and so I'm running 100km in 20 days to raise awareness and money for the Alzheimer's Society, a charity that supports people living with this awful condition and try my best to spread awareness about this disease.
