Story
Teens Unite is a Charity that supports young people fighting cancer to live their best life, while others search for a cure. There are 2,555 new cases of cancer diagnosed in teenagers and young adults in the UK each year and the Charity inspires young people to recognise their potential now and, in the future, and empowers them to live every moment to the full.
I am privileged to have the opportunity to support this worthy cause by participating in Teens Unite’s Strictly Dancing Ball at Grosvenor House in London on 15th June 2024.
My journey will involve training and learning to perform a dance routine on the night of the ball, whilst raising as much money as possible for the Charity in the process.
Whilst this one-off challenge is hugely daunting for me, it pales into insignificance when compared to the challenge that these brave young individuals have to face on a daily basis and I am committed to help however I can to make a positive difference to their lives.
If you are willing and able to help me on this journey, I would be both greatly appreciative and grateful for any donations that can be provided through my JustGiving page with all proceeds going towards the funding of activities and residential stays to help these youngsters rebuild their lives or, at the very least, live with their diagnosis in the best possible way.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and if you are able to donate, thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity - however big or small, every penny will make a difference.
Whatever challenges life wants to throws at us, let us all keeeeeeeeep dancing!!
