Story
I’d already decided to grow my hair as long as I could, to then cut it and donate it to the Little Princess Trust. I have managed to grow about 15” that will be chopped in November! However, it still costs £550 to make a wig for a child or young person, so I’m fundraising that amount to accompany my hair donation.
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia. As a child, I had hair long enough to sit on, I couldn’t imagine going through the pain of losing all my hair now, let along when I was a child.
The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.
The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
