Hiya everyone,

I am so excited to be taking on the London Marathon on Saturday 24th April 2027 in memory of my friend, Ruby.

I’ll be running for Ruby’s ‘Live Kindly, Live Loudly’ Fund, raising money for vital research into T-cell blood cancers and helping to develop better treatments for other young people.

Ruby and I grew up together in Dulwich after our mums met through their antenatal group, so we were ready-made best friends! Ruby is part of many of my happiest childhood memories, before my family moved to Birmingham.

Sadly, we lost Ruby to T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in 2020, when she was just 18. I feel so incredibly grateful to be making another special memory with Ruby, by running the marathon through the city where we grew up, with her motto, 'Live Kindly, Live Loudly,' carrying me all the way!
