In Memory of Tim Weekes – Supporting the Charles Dickens Ward
In memory of our much-loved Tim, we are raising funds for the Kent Oncology Centre, specifically the Charles Dickens Ward, where Tim received his treatment and care.
The Kent Oncology Centre provides specialist cancer care and support to over 1.9 million people across Kent and East Sussex, helping patients and their families through some of the most difficult times in their lives.
It was Tim’s wish that money should be raised in his memory to support the ward that cared for him. Even while receiving treatment himself, Tim was always thinking of others. When he discovered there was a shortage of pillows on the ward, he went out and bought pillows for the patients, and he would regularly make sure the wonderful staff were looked after too, bringing in biscuits and chocolate bars for them to enjoy.
That was Tim – generous, thoughtful and always wanting to give something back.
By donating in Tim’s memory, we hope to continue that generosity and help the Charles Dickens Ward provide the very best care, comfort and support to other people undergoing cancer treatment.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will mean so much and will help us honour Tim’s memory in a way we know he would have wanted.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity and for helping us continue something that was so important to Tim.
Forever loved, forever missed, and still making a difference.
