Myself, along with a few of my other brave (and crazy) friends are climbing Mount Toubkal - North Africa's highest peak... it's going to be a tough one!!

For me this is to support Age UK Nottingham and Nottinghamshire and the work they do in supporting those living with dementia in our city.

Living with dementia is not only the person who has the disease but also their loved ones and carers.

You will Climb to the summit of Mount Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa and 4 x higher than Scafell Pike, and be rewarded with the sunrise of a lifetime Earn the views from the Marrakech Plain and High Atlas peaks all the way to the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara. It'll be a very early, cold rise to get to the summit and then a 10 hour descent back to base. Be prepared!
