Story
The Perinatal Loss and Trauma Therapy Service (NHS) offers therapeutic support to women and birthing people who have experienced the heart-wrenching loss of a baby. We are proud to raise money and awareness for Sands, the UK’s leading charity dedicated to pregnancy and baby loss. Sands is not just an organization; it is a compassionate community that speaks up for bereaved families, advocates for improved maternity safety, and works tirelessly to save babies’ lives.
In the lead up to Baby Loss Awareness Week we we will come together on 27th September 2025 at the Exeter Riverside Park Run, united in our mission to create change. This event is more than just a run; it is an opportunity to honour those we have lost and support families navigating grief. We will donate all money raised to SANDS to contribute to investing in Devon resources and support for parents who have experienced this profound loss.
We invite you to join us in this vital cause. Together, we can turn understanding into action and ensure that no one has to walk this path alone. Your support can make all the difference in the lives of grieving families. Let’s inspire change together!
