Harvey was born in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, and diagnosed at birth with Downs Syndrome.

What followed for Caleb and I were weeks of uncertainty, unknown therapies and new terminology as we came to terms with the needs of our darling new baby boy.

We came accross Down Right Excellent, a local charity who provide access to an amazing community. Here we have made friends with other families in the local area who have been supportive and inspiring, as we see children with Downs Syndrome reaching thier potential at all stages of thier development.

They provide consistant and high quality speech and language therapy, which has been pivotal in Harvey making such amazing progress in talking, reading and makaton.

We are riding from my dads house in Bath, to Calebs mums house in Richmond, over 2 days at the end of Septmember, in support of this great cause.
