Charlotte's fundraiser for Sophie's Legacy

ABP Southampton Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·
Sophie is my daughter and I have decided to sign up and run the ABP 10k tomorrow with no training and not a nice course with the Itchen Bridge. But I want to raise money to keep helping the families we support. We can only do this by raising much needed funds. If you can donate £5 it would give a parent in hospital a hot meal. If you can afford £10 it would provide a parent pack with all the essential toiletries, phone charger etc. Anything you can donate will really make a difference.
Sophie was a 10 year old child who was determined to make a difference before she died. She wrote a bucket list of things she wanted changed in her memory. The list was to improve the experience for families admitted to hospital with their children as well as improving outcomes for children with cancer. Sophie's Legacy charity was set up following Sophies death. We support families in hospital by providing food, toiletries, clothes, transport, birthday parties, etc. We currently cover 12 hospitals supporting hundreds of families every single week. We also advocate at a national level with the government and NHS to improve play, food for children and parents being fed. We are also advocating for improvements for children diagnosed with cancer. Together we will make change.
