My mum (Rosy) and I are raising money for Tommy's - a charity that is extremely close to our hearts. As many people know, in 2025, I had 2 complicated 'missed miscarriages' both resulting in 'empty sacs' at 12 weeks and 9 weeks. I had little to no pregnancy symptoms, and was surrounded by constant reassurance that everything would be okay, but I felt sure that something was wrong. I had to undergo surgery (first time emergency, and second time elective) to end the pregnancies as my pregnancy hormones were still so high, and they were not ending spontaneously.

Tommy's and the Marathons for Miracles team have been an incredible support in the time that has followed. For information, for courage to speak out, and for general camaraderie.

Olly Brown (a stranger to me a few months ago, and now an unsung hero) is taking on 39 marathons in 39 weeks! To represent that not everyone gets to 40 weeks. These are taking part in each of the historic English Counties, and my mum and I are joining him on his 33rd - Suffolk - on 8th August 2026.

As I continue my own journey to build my family, there is a chance that I won't be running the marathon, but my mum is determined to run as her first marathon ever (aged 64)!! Olly, Robin and my mum are true heroes and it would mean the world to me if you also support the cause.
