In January 1987, our lovely mother was diagnosed with non Hodgkin’s lymphoma, she passed away in April of the same year - the statistics then were that 1 in 6 of us would be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime.

In November 2009, our wonderful dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, he passed away in November 2010 after a valiant fight - the statistics then, and now, are that 1 in 2 of us will be diagnosed with cancer.
