Titty Trail Shropshire

Charlotte Jones is raising money for Lingen Davies Cancer Fund

Team: Sisters with Blisters!

Titty Trail is an 11 mile walk to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, highlight the importance of screening uptake and boost funds for local cancer services.

Story

As some of you may be aware, in September 2024, I was diagnosed with a particularly aggressive type of breast cancer. I had found a lump and decided to get checked out, just to be sure it wasn’t anything to be concerned about. My diagnosis came as such a shock to us all and it’s been a tough year to say the least. It was a journey I never wished to undertake, but fortunately for me, I’ve had the most amazing tribe alongside me for the ride. I couldn’t have done it without my wonderful family, incredible friends, amazing husband and my absolutely fabulous children!! I am so lucky and am eternally grateful to you all.

As I head towards the end of treatment, my focus is shifting towards my longer term health, overcoming the brain fog, fatigue and aches, and getting some fitness back.

In support of women and men who are yet to be diagnosed with breast cancer, my lovely sisters and I have decided to undertake the ‘Titty Trail’ walk to raise funds for Lingen Davies Cancer Support. If you feel you can make a small contribution to our sponsorship page we would be so so grateful! I have personally benefited from the amazing wellbeing support on offer and would love for others to be able to have the same experience.

Thank you so much 🩷 and don’t forget to check your breasts everyone! Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer, affecting 1 in 7 women over the course of their lifetime. Around 400 men are also diagnosed each year in the UK.

* T!tty Trail first began in 2023 and has grown year on year to become a large-scale cancer awareness and fundraising event. We host the trail in October to mark breast cancer awareness month and since it began in 2023, the event has raised over £50,000 for Lingen Davies Cancer Fund.

Lingen Davies fund a wide variety of projects and services including wild swimming sessions for breast cancer patients, wig vouchers, free yoga and tai chi for patients and much more!
