Charlotte's fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis Society

Charlotte Maisey is raising money for Multiple Sclerosis Society

Berlin Marathon 2026 · 27 September 2026 ·

Our team of MS Superstar runners will take on the Berlin Marathon, to raise funds and awareness for the MS Society and to help stop MS. This is their team page.

Story

This year, I’ll be taking on my third marathon, the Berlin Marathon, for a cause that has become deeply personal to me. In the last year, I was diagnosed with MS, and while I’m fortunate to be on a treatment plan, for many living with MS, it’s a journey that requires you to adapt, learn and navigate its impact each day.

MS has also touched my family before— my late auntie having lived with the condition for many years. This marathon is just my way of showing that you can still achieve amazing things, no matter what you’re up against, while supporting others who are facing their own battles with MS.

I’m raising money for the MS Society to help fund vital research, support services, and work towards a future where MS no longer has the impact it does today.

If you’re able to donate or share, it would truly mean a lot. Every step I run is for this cause—and every bit of support makes a difference.

Thank you 💛

A little more about the MS Society:

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable condition that affects your brain and spinal cord. In MS, the coating that protects your nerves (myelin) is damaged. This causes a range of symptoms like blurred vision and problems with how we move, think and feel.

More than 150,000 people in the UK have MS. Once diagnosed, MS stays with you for life, but treatments and specialists can help you to manage the condition and its symptoms.

The MS Society is here to help everyone live well with MS.

Every year they reach thousands of people with help and support through their MS Helpline and local groups. They campaign on the issues that matter most to the MS community. And they invest in ground-breaking research to stop MS in its tracks.

Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.
