Charlotte’s 13.1miles for Eadie

Charlotte Marsh is raising money for Tommy’s, the pregnancy and baby charity
Tommy's funds medical research into the causes of premature birth, stillbirth and miscarriage. We’re dedicated to finding causes and treatments to save babies’ lives as well as providing trusted pregnancy and baby loss information and support.

Story

On 7th April 2025, our beautiful daughter Eadie was stillborn. The heartbreak of losing a child is indescribable, and not a day passes without her in our thoughts. Her loss has forever changed us, but it has also inspired a deep commitment to help other families avoid this pain.

On 4th October 2026, I will be running the Manchester Half Marathon in her memory. Each of the 13.1 miles represents a step toward hope and healing. Training is challenging, but every mile reminds me why I am doing this, to honour her and to support families facing similar heartbreak.

I am fundraising for Tommy’s, the pregnancy and baby charity, because no family should have to endure the loss of a baby alone. Tommy’s conducts vital research that saves lives, offers compassionate support to bereaved families, and works tirelessly to make pregnancy and birth safer for everyone.

My goal is to raise £500 to help continue this essential work. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference and means the world to my family and me. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page or cheering me on during the marathon would be equally appreciated.

Thank you for helping me honour my daughter’s memory. She will be with me every step of those 13.1 miles as we strive together for a future where fewer families experience such profound loss. Forever loved. Forever missed.🩷
