Charlotte's Great Wall of China Trek- Highland Hospice

Charlotte Murray is raising money for Highland Hospice

Great Wall of China Trek · 3 April 2027

In April 2027, a group of supporters will spend nine days trekking the Great Wall of China, raising vital funds to help Highland Hospice to continue to be there to offer compassionate care and support to families who need them across the Highlands.

Story

Michael and I are certainly no strangers to fundraising, having already taken on lots of challenges, including Michael smashing 'Strictly Inverness' in 2022. Now it's my turn! In April 2027, I’ll be taking on the incredible challenge of trekking the Great Wall of China to raise money for Highland Hospice.

Anyone who knows me knows I’m always up for a challenge, and this feels like the perfect opportunity to push myself out of my comfort zone- being away from my husband and 4 wee ones, and challenging my fitness while supporting a charity that means so much to so many people across the Highlands.

Highland Hospice provides vital care and support for people living with life-shortening illnesses, as well as comfort and guidance for their families during incredibly difficult times. Their services make such a difference, helping people live with dignity, compassion and the best possible quality of life.

As an independent charity, Highland Hospice relies heavily on fundraising to continue delivering these amazing services throughout the Highlands and beyond. Every donation, no matter the size, will help support their essential work and will also motivate me every step of the way as I tackle this once-in-a-lifetime trek.

Thank you so much for your support — it truly means the world to me.

Bring on April 2027!
