Phil and I have decided to participate in a challenge set by the Lily Mae Foundation, to walk 60 miles each this February. This charity does such amazing work and has been such a vital support for both Phil and myself whilst navigating the loss of our beautiful baby boy Jaxon, as well as supporting countless other bereaved families.

Our beautiful Son Jaxon was born in May after being diagnosed with Edward's Syndrome, also known as Trisomy 18. We knew our time with him would be limited and will always treasure the precious 22 days we managed to spend with him as a family at home. He is, and always will be our Son, our precious boy, and doing this challenge is just one of the many ways we can keep his memory alive.

The Lily Mae Foundation have been there for us throughout, supporting us with a memory box, 1-2-1 counselling sessions, support groups and allowing us to connect with other bereaved families, helping us feel less alone in our grief. Being able to talk to others who have also lost their precious babies offers such comfort and is a community I know we all treasure.

Any money we are able to raise will go towards those precious memory boxes that are so important to bereaved parents, as well as giving other families the opportunity to access the same amazing and compassionate services that we have. Any donation you are able to make is so gratefully received and will support other families navigating the painful loss of a baby.

We will always do whatever we can to support others in what is the worst thing any parent can go through. I hope Jaxon is watching over us, proud that we are doing something to help others.
