Story
Every year 400,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer, leaving them feeling anxious and alone.
This spring, We are going to take a step in support of every single person diagnosed, walking 400,000 steps to raise money for Cancer Support UK to provide practical and emotional support for those impacted. I will be walking a total of 400,000 steps over 40 days between 20th March and 29th April.
While there can be relief when cancer treatment comes to an end, the weeks and months that follow can be far from straightforward. Many people who have experienced cancer can feel isolated, and struggle with low mood or anxiety, finding it hard to deal with what they have been through.
Cancer Support UK's free Cancer Coach service provides much needed emotional support post-treatment.
Please help me raise money for this vital service.
