Charlotte's fundraiser for Northern Ireland's Children to Lapland Trust

Charlotte Quinn is raising money for Northern Ireland's Children to Lapland Trust

Walk to Scotland · 16 November 2025

We are an independent Northern Irish charity who give terminally ill, life limited and deserving children a magical day by taking them to visit Santa at his home in Lapland. For many of these special children it is sadly the last trip they will make. Charity Commission NI no. 103911

Story

The Children to Laplnd Trust is a charity close to my heart as in 2012 I was selected to take this trip after being diagnosed with Viral Encephilitis. I am forever grateful that I am lucky enough to have made a full recovery, unfortunately this is not the case for many children who travel to Lapland every year, and so we fundraise to support this charity in helping families make lasting memories with their children.

Myself and a team of family and friends, alongside many people from all over NI will be taking part in the ‘Walk to Scotland’ where we travel by boat to Scotland; walking the whole way!! We are asked to raise £100 each, however; our goal online and offline is £5000 as last year I raised £2400 and I hope to double that this year!!! I hope to pass on the magic to another deserving child and family, thank you much for ay support an donations.

As well as the Walk to Scotland organised by CTLT my team and I will be running a number of other events in the lead up. We are so excited for another year of fundraising for this amazing cause!! Please give what you can! and thank you so so much for any donations or support xx

We are the only charity in the world to charter their own plane to Santapark Lapland. On the day, our 220 seat plane is a flying hospital, as we have a Consultant Paediatrician and full medical team with us. Sadly for some of the children on board, this is the last trip they will make, as they are suffering from terminal illnesses or life limiting conditions. We create a day full of joy, smiles and excitement, creating wonderful memories that the children and families treasure forever. Please help us to give this very special gift.
