Anyone who knows me well knows that I tend towards more indoor hobbies than sports and exercise. With that in mind you'll appreciate the challenge that I'm setting myself here; to hike 25km over the hills of the Peak District within a single day. But it's for a fantastic cause that I feel very strongly about.

Myself and many of the people I know have had our lives impacted by suicide, and this kind of support can make a substantial difference; the sooner an intervention happens, the more likely it is a person can be helped.

The Agilio team are taking on the Peak District Ultra Challenge event on 28th/29th June 2025.

The Peak District Ultra is a 2-day event that will see our Agilians tackle challenging walks ranging from 10 miles to 100km! Our hope is for this event to be our biggest yet.

40 members of our team are coming together and joining forces in order raise as much money as possible for R;pple Suicide Prevention.

R;pple is a digital crisis intervention tool, it creates a visual prompt when someone searches online for keywords and phrases linked to suicide. This tool is designed to ensure more help and support is provided to individuals conducting searches related to self-harm or suicide. The focus is on proactive intervention, bridging the gap between individuals in crisis and the help they require.

By installing R;pple on a device, or supporting their mission, you become a part of a movement dedicated to saving lives and promoting a brighter, better-informed conversation around mental health. If downloaded by all households and workplaces in the UK, could save over 1,000 lives every year.
